This 15-day, 14 nights, Thailand tour is designed especially for those who travel solo and are over 60.

No single supplement and you will still get your own room and a guaranteed departure even for one only.

*While designed for solos at 60 or + it is most certainly not restricted to them. All ages and/or circumstances are just as welcome. One price per person fits all.

It is for those who want slow, comfortable & relaxed travel with most of this done on day trains.  Sit back and watch the world pass by.

We will stay in three-star accommodation for 10 nights plus 2 nights 4-star & 2 nights 2-star where the location is what counts.

Perfect for those who want to see the sights and experience the local culture also.  All in holiday relaxation mode. You will have an over 60s Tour Coordinator who has lived in the region for many years.

Start in Chiang Mai with a cooking course and the Sunday walking street market plus the every night, night bazaar and you will see why Chiang Mai is a fav with all travellers.

Then a short van ride through the mountain scenery to the magical town of Pai.  In a valley surrounded by blue mountains sits Pai. A half-day tour of the attractions is included.

You will also stay in central Phitsanulok and visit the old city of Sukhothai from there.  Then on to the historical but now monkey-ruled town of Lopburi for its historical ruins and a real Thai nighttime street food market experience with the locals.

Back on the train to the always amazing capital of Bangkok where you will see why it is the most visited city in the world.   From Bangkok, there will be a fulls days tour to the Bridge on the River Kwai as well as an evening buffet dinner boat cruise on the Chao Praya River.

Plenty of free time to relax by the pool, explore on your own or shop in some of the best places for this in all S.E. Asia.

Overview

Expect to see real Thailand plus many of the more famous attractions.  Expect less time travelling and more time relaxing/exploring/shopping.    Expect to be surprised and delighted at every step along the way. Expect real as good as it gets local Thai food you will never see back home.

Do not expect to find a better value tour anywhere else.
