PAYMENT
Once we have confirmed your booking David Vuong Travel will contact you with an invoice for payment options.
DEPOSITS
Once we have confirmed availability to you we then require either a 20% deposit or full payment within 7 days.
If you choose to pay the deposit only the full balance is required at least 3 months prior to day 1 of your tour.
If these payments are not paid within these times and we do not hear from you then we will consider your booking cancelled.
CANCELLATIONS
Your 20% deposit or 20% of your full payment is non-refundable. Once you have paid in full the cancellation charges are as follows.
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to day 1 of your tour you will receive a full refund less the 20%.
If you cancel between 60 & 30 days prior to day 1 of your trip you will receive a 50% refund on the full price.
If you cancel with less than 30 days prior to day 1 of your trip there is no refund at all.
We strongly advise you to make sure your travel insurance covers the above cancellation charges. All cancellations must be in writing.
The date of cancellation will be taken as the day that such written advice
is received by Baktrax.
All prices listed are current at the time of writing but are subject to change without notice due to the fluctuation of local currencies and other causes beyond our control.
After departure, Baktrax will not be responsible for any itinerary changes or cancellations due to local political situations etc or natural causes. Your tour coordinator has sole responsibility for these matters. Your safety is our paramount concern.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Unless advised differently or included in itineraries by Baktrax, the tour excludes airfares, all departure taxes and any other taxes, excess luggage charges, gratuities, laundry, drinks, documentation, personal accident, medical expenses, incidental expenses and all communication charges incurred on passengers behalf, and any charges for recreational facilities, mini bar or other services provided by any hotel or guest house.
Group departures
Baktrax group departures are limited to 8 people at the published price. Groups larger than 8 travellers may be available on application.
GUARANTEE
Once your payment is received in full and you receive written confirmation then the trip is guaranteed to depart.
BAGGAGE
Airline regulations usually allow a maximum weight of 20 kilograms per passenger (44lbs) plus a limited cabin bag. Baktrax is not responsible for any luggage or excess baggage charges. Flights included in itineraries must comply with this also.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All participants must be in possession of a valid passport and the necessary visa requirements for all countries to be visited. Baktrax does not accept responsibility for passengers who fail to obtain correct documentation.
TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
All forms of transportation including air travel and accommodation are provided by independent third parties, and standards and conditions may vary from our descriptions. Baktrax has no control over such changes and makes no guarantee regarding this.
Should any independent third party, service provider, accommodation house provider or carrier provide different services to those expressly mentioned by Baktrax, the client agrees to have no claim or cause of action whatsoever against Baktrax.
CARE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Baktrax endeavour to take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the client obtains the travel, accommodation and, other associated services contracted by the client. Baktrax understand the booking conditions described on this web site have been read and understood by the client, but accepts no responsibility for any accident, damage, loss, injury, sickness, death, cancellation, delay, detention, deviation, substitutions or other unforeseen event, unless caused by the negligent or willful act of itself or its employees. Every endeavour has been made by Baktrax to ensure the contents of this site are accurate at the time of listing and Baktrax shall not be under any obligation or be liable to any person for any loss or damage suffered as a result of an inaccuracy or misdescription contained herein; or which may arise as a result of any changes or withdrawal of any price, detail or service appearing herein; which is implied by virtue of the said contents; or any accident, injury, delay or irregularity caused by, or arising out of the provision or failure to provide any of the services.
GENERAL HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
To take full advantage of a Baktrax itinerary it is important that all participants have a reasonable level of physical fitness that allows them to take part in all activities and treks, without the need for assistance from others. In addition, Baktrax recommends that travellers seek advice from a licensed medical practitioner to ascertain current health requirements,(if any) pertaining to any intended tour. A medical certificate from your doctor is required for anyone over the age of 60 years old saying you are capable of undertaking the tour.

The products featured in the Baktrax web site are valid till changed, subject to the care and responsibility provisions above.
